Belfast Sightseeing

April 14th, 2009

With some much on offer the list below will help you get started with how to spend your time in Belfast.

  • Black Taxi Tours – a great way of seeing the city and if you are lucky you will get one of the many quirky drivers Belfast has to offer who will be full of craic, an event in itself!
  • The Crown Liquor Salon – No trip to Belfast is complete without sampling a pint of the black stuff in one of the most amazing bars in town, a real blast from the past
  • The Grand Opera House – The central theatre and home to some great shows, plays and musicals.
  • W5 – For those of you with kids this is a great way to keep them entertained for the best part of the day which will hopefully guarantee you a good night sleep as well!
  • St Georges Market – the best days for this are Friday and Saturday with Saturday being my favorite.
  • Botanic Gardens – When the sun is shining this is a great place to hang out an relax. With the River Lagan, Queens University and the stylish and cafe full Stranmills Areas a mere stones throw away
  • St Anne’s cathedral – Set in the heart of the ever expanding, increasingly popular and hub of excitement and entertainment, the cathedral quarter.
