Belfast has always been a place from whcih great actors, singers and musicians have hailed so it was not a surprise to see that the city is alive with amateur and professional musical entertainment.
last night, I was treated to a wonderful performance of Fiddler on the Roof by the amazing Fortwilliam Musical Society in the BT Studio at the Waterfront Hall. The Theatre is a small an intimate affair. I was so close to the stage that I could quite literally reach out and touch the performers.
Sadly tonight is the last night of the show and we wish all the cast a great last night, break a leg. For more information about Fortwilliams upcoming events, checkout their website.
Over the coming weeks I plan on featuring more from the work of Musical Theatre and to let you know the many comanies who are doing productions and feature some of the big prodcutions from the professional circuit who will grace our stage in the majestic Grand Opera House Belfast.
